Joao Palhinha is set to return as an option for Bayern Munich at Freiburg next weekend.
Bayern Munich midfielder Joao Palhinha, 29, is set to return for Saturday’s Bundesliga trip to Freiburg, Ufabet Germany reported on Sunday.
Palhinha suffered a ruptured right thigh muscle in November last year that kept him out for more than two months. Vincent Kompany currently uses Leon Goretzka and Aleksandar Pavlovic in central midfield alongside Joshua Kimmich. So Palhinha’s recovery gives the 38-year-old more options in midfield.
